The roster names six characters who carry the name UltraGirl. Until this week only two of them had somewhere to go on this site: Ashley Kelly’s hub, and the page for the 2018 short film. The other four now have pages of their own.
Ultragirl, Marvel Comics. Suzy Sherman, a California teenager who found out she was Kree, born Tsu-Zana. Barbara Kesel and Leonard Kirk gave her a three-issue series in 1996; she went on to the Secret Avengers, the Initiative and the New Warriors.
Ultragirl, DC Comics. Kara Zor-El of Earth-3, cousin of Ultraman on the world where the heroes are the villains. She first appeared in Countdown to Final Crisis in 2008 and got her own story, and her death, in the 2021 Crime Syndicate miniseries.
Ultragirl, Big Bang Comics. Christine Kelly, daughter of Ultiman, charged by the same meteor that took her father. Butch Guice drew her origin for Gary Carlson’s Megaton in 1983; she carried on into Big Bang Comics and its future-set Tales of Tomorrow.
Ultragirl, ULTRAMAN. Rena Sayama, the pop idol of the ULTRAMAN manga and the Netflix anime, adopted daughter of a Tokyo detective, with a suit of her own. Her page also says plainly where her claim to the name comes from.
Each page gives the character’s origin, her creators with links to their biographies where one exists, her publication history, and where to read her, and each links out to the publisher’s own page or the reference wiki for the character. The illustrations are the roster’s, AI-generated and made for UltraGirl Unlimited as interpretations, not the publishers’ artwork. UltraGirl Unlimited has no affiliation with Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Big Bang Comics or Tsuburaya Productions.
