The world

Earth-3 is DC's inverted world. The Justice League's counterparts there are the Crime Syndicate, and its Superman is Ultraman, a tyrant rather than a protector. Kara Zor-El of Earth-3 is his cousin, the other survivor of that Krypton, and her name takes the ultra from his.

In print

She first appeared in Countdown to Final Crisis #16 (January 2008), the weekly series run by head writer Paul Dini with Tony Bedard among its writers and Keith Giffen among its artists, as a member of the Crime Society drawn into Monarch's army. Her own story came thirteen years later in the six-issue Crime Syndicate (2021), written by Andy Schmidt with art by Kieran McKeown and Bryan Hitch. She arrives on the last page of #5; in #6 (August 3, 2021) she meets Ultraman, stands with the Legion of Justice against the Syndicate, and is killed by Atomica.
